For little sharks that look almost exactly alike, they are very, very different. Smooth dogfish, for one, fight like sin and will tear drag off of your light reel. Plus, of course that they don't have spikes, which makes them a lot easier to grab and take off of the hook. Plus, they don't have teeth!!! You can lip them. They have jaws like a skate. It's strange.
