2008 Tuna Recap to Music
We had a great time fishing this year for tuna and we couldn't imagine the size of the fish that we were able to catch on spinning rods. One of the biggest joys was catching fish on rods and reels that didn't break the budget. The drag on the Okuma Salina took more abuse than any reel I've ever seen without giving in once. For $100? Yes.
We caught many of the fish this year while using spinning rods and my homemade lures, which I've called "Tuna Candy". If I've made some great changes to an old standby and poured them myself. Very satisfying and much, much cheaper. If you're interested in buying some, drop me a line as I have all winter to make them!!!
