Why Us?

We have a general philosophy about our fishing trips that we think shows in everything that we do. I wasn't born with a fishing rod in my hand, but found one when I was about five years old and I never put it down. It's something that I've always liked doing, but I never really thought about it as a career. When friends would visit from out of town, I'd inevitably take them fishing or scuba diving. I always loved sharing the ocean with other people. Then in 2004, my wife and some of my friends got to talking and they all agreed that this was my calling. So, here I am. But, why us? Because, in the words of many of my customers, my trips are not just about catching fish. I have always thought that if you can show someone a good time without showing them a fish, then they'll have a great time. Of course, my goal is to catch fish and do that aspect of my job well. However, myself and Matt are so ingrained with the first part of the equation--the personal part, that by the time that we start fishing we've already shown everyone a good time (we think and have been told).

Someday they'll be at the helm

But, once again, why us? Our trips are about fun, honesty, good times, and catching fish.

Our motto is that you come on the boat as strangers and leave as friends.

And remembering the trip after the fact. It is because of this that I bring along a video camera and digital camera on board. I am doing more and more with the internet for 2009--I will be greatly expanding my fishing reports section. Look for me to build a new site that caters to fishermen in more ways than just my charter fishing website. I will be displaying a much greater number of photos after each trip. I have great photos included in every fishing report, and I've taken some of the best photos and put them on my photos page. I will also be greatly expanding my video section page--in many instances I will be adding a section for each trip's report that includes some video from the day. It's amazing for me to look back at the photo and fishing video page of all of my trips after the season has ended. We really have a blast watching and re-reading these reports.

My goal is to make repeat customers out of everyone, as I truly love the relationships that I've built in the past few years. When I have repeat customers who bring new friends, it makes me feel great and feel like my family is growing. That's one of the reasons, "why us?"

Why Us? Well, if you want to go deep-sea fishing on Stellwagen Bank for cod or haddock try us and we'll have a blast. If you want to see what it's like to fish Wildcat Knoll or Martha's Vineyard for huge sharks--we're the small fishing charter specialists. We love chasing bluefin tuna We'll do our best to put you in the path of a school of busting tuna off of Provincetown, Stellwagen Bank, or Peaked Hill Bar.
